Mission Statement:
El Movimiento is a youth-led grassroots organization that is fighting for educational justice. We are youth building a critical movement aimed at confronting the educational injustices that oppress our communities. We believe that the current educational system confines and neglects the culturally diverse student population. We challenge this systematic discrimination by educating ourselves through research that is relevant and speaks to our experiences as a people. As a conscious collective, we strive to make ourselves and the world better. Knowledge is POWER!
